Description
PS2 Methylene is an internal bluetooth adapter board utilizing the great Blueretro HW2 project. It is compatible with all controllers supported by Blueretro. There is no easier way to use modern controllers with retro consoles. Cleaning and repairing DualShock 2 controllers isn't necessary anymore!
This version integrates the ESP32 module pre-flashed with the specific version of Blueretro for Methylene. If you choose the option above "Soldering ...", we'll solder it on the Methylene board for you. Either way, you don’t need a programmer nor worry about learning how to program a factory fresh module.
Theoretically compatible with all PS2 FAT, Phat or original models.
If your controller connection board looks like this one, it’s compatible (if you have an extra capacitor on the board, you can remove it and relocate it after the Methylene installation as shown in the installation video).
The few minor installation problems of the “prototype” revisions have been corrected, and installation should be simplified in this final version. Installation and functionality remain the same. Larger holes on the pcb, and alternative points for RESET and VCC simplify the installation. The wired controller detection circuit has also been optimized to enable detection of a wider range of controllers.

The installation process consists of soldering the board to the controller port board and wires to VCC from the power supply and to the reset button (or mother board reset point like modchip). If you’ve already soldered a modchip, this is easier.
