The original XBOX Skeleton key is a pair of free ENDGAME payloads with a toolkit of useful applications for original XBOX loaded on a compatible 256 MB flash drive.
It includes a USB adapter PCB that plugs directly into the front panel controller ports, modeled after Team Xodus' original version released many years ago. Modified to have clean curves and a wider grip to put insertion and removal force on the PCB instead of the USB port.
Features:
- Xbox Content Archive Tool (XCAT) XCAT scans your Xbox hard drive for unarchived content such as DLC, dashboard skins, Xbox Live content, and more. Found files are automatically uploaded to the XCAT team’s servers for analysis and preservation.
- Insignia Setup Assistant
- Gamepad Tester
- MemCheck
- Rocky5’s Softmod v1.2.2
- Xbox Disk Over Network (XDON)
- PrometheOS boot menu with integrations
Includes:
- XBOX Skeleton key loaded on a compatible XBOX Skeleton Key branded 256 MB flash drive
- XBOX Skeleton Branded USB adapter PCB that plugs directly into the front panel controller ports
Requires:
- original XBOX

Soldering is not necessary to use this kit.
This mod is designed to add functionality to an original XBOX. Soldering is not required for this kit.
The PCB and USB thumb drive are sourced from China. Some assembly is finished at HQ.
This, like all pcbs sold at RingerKeys RetroModStore, cannot be returned due to the sensitive and fragile nature of printed circuit boards. If you have any questions about this or any of our products, please contact Dan from the menu below.
